Semester Reflection

This semester has been a great semester for me. My grades are great compare to last semester, I think this was because I layed back a little, but after I turned my speed and my thinking capacity up a little notch. Otherwise from my grades I have more friends and I am starting to enjoy life hear at westport.I had applied to a lot of colleges and they have responded, all they are waiting for are my ACT scores, which I have not recived as yet because I had jst took the ACT in April of this year.

First Family Blog

The "First Family" has settled on their first pet which is a six month old Portugeuse water dog,the girls named Bo. Bo comes from a kennel in Dallas. The dog was and is a gift from Sen. Edwards M.Kennedy, D-mass, who owns several Portugeuse dogs him self.
We couldn't be happier to see the joy that Bo has bring to Malia and Sasha", Mr. Kennedy said in a statement." We love our Portuguese water dogs and we know that the girls- and their parents will love theirs too.
The pesident and the first lady said that they had to choose between to dogs.APortuguese water dog and a Labradoodle as they were considered good pets for children with alergies like Malia.
I think that Bo is the best dog for the Obama Family especially the GIRLS.

Weekend Experience

This weekend

This past weekend was great, as my brothers and I went to our aunt's house. We went there on Saturday at 12 noon.One hour later my brother was asked by my aunt to take my cousin to chucky cheese so we all hop in the car and went.
This was the first time i've seen my brother drive so we wee all scared and tense. After we went to chucky cheese we went to the bank ,Where my changed this check. He then ask where do we want to go and eat

What is my favorite food?

My favorite food is curry chicken back and dumplings. It has been my favorite food since I was 11 years old. To me it is very delicious and more tasty than the rest of food I've tried. Believe me when I say this i've tried a lot of food from all sections of the world. When eating eating this kind of food there is to be a lot of gravey or else it woun't tast that good. I love when my mom cooks my favorite food because she makes it so spicy and delicious.

Today is the day i will listen to what my mom tells me,

Classmate killed on PROM NIGHT

My classmate was shot and killed on Friday, Prom night. She was shot five times in the face.I wanted to go to the Prom but my mom didn't let me go but know I am so thankfull that my mom didn't let me go.What a want to know is why did they have to kill that little girl. MEN! SHE didn't even get to finish the eleventh grade, didn't get to graduate and most of all didn't get to persue her dream that she always talk about in class. She wanted to become a nurse. she wanted to save lives, but I guess thats not going to happen as she is no longer around.

Swine Flu

There is a new out break called the Swine Flu. It has hospitalized one thousand and odd people and killed 149 people in just a short time. Reporter from KMBC News said that its first cast was when a four year old came in contact with a pig in a small town in Mexico. Scientist has not yet find a core for the illness as they do not know much about the flu as yet. What they know is that tommy flu (MEDICATION) helps fights the flu in its first signs. Some preventitive measure are;
washing of the hands thoughly , don't hug or have very close incontact with others untill the desease dies or is cured.
There are caes reported in Kansas but, non reported in Missouri. Thank GOD.

President Obama's Bi partnership has mixed sucess.

President Obama swept into office with a lofty promise to bridge the capital's fierce partisan divide." old habits are hard to break", the new president acknowledged in February as reality sets just few weeks after he took office. While teaching Bi partisan and civilty in his first months, the president also has shown willingness to push his priorities though congress over Republican opposition, as with the$787 billion economic stimulus plan. President Obama continues to emphasize on overcoming poisonous partisanshipand he also continues to do what he does best: his job.

My ambition in life is to become a Phamacist, not just and ordinary but the best pharmacist ever to walk the face of the earth. There are five reasons I made Pharmacist my career choice are;
#1 I want to make peaple happy in a different way, by issuing them their medications and making shore they are in the right propotion and the right type.

What I like doing best?

The thing I like doing best is making people happy.I don't like to see people looking sad and down. I like seeing their face light up so whenever I see someone all down and so i try talk to them to find out the problem and if I can help them solve it i will. If I can solve the problem the I'll do something to cheer them up, like, cracking a joke or even act a fool if that's what it takes for them to smile.

The beach

The beach is a body of water, sometimes rough and sometimes calm.
Where ever there's a beach there is also sand. The sand is what divides the beach from the land and provides place/space for it's fans. The Fans are the people that comes to the beach to see the waves as they sway.
I love the beach it's my favorite place to go, the place for kids to hang out with their friends and also the place to see the sunrises, sets and glow. But now i'm oversees where I see no beach but instead snow. I realy mis the the beach, beach DON'T GO!!!.

"De country"

"De county" is Jamaica. Jamaica is an island. It is sorrounded by the caribbean sea. I was born and raise there. Jamaica has 14 parishes/provinces. I lived in the parish of ST.Elizabeth, which is the bread basket of the country like here in Missouri. In Jamaica we have a tropical which means it's hot all year round. Who's my favourite artists( rapper)?

My favourite rapper is 50 cent. He's my favourite rapper because he is , I believe"THE GREATEST RAPPER IN THE WORLD". I think he should have won the thing against him and Kanye West. I mean, his lyrics are much more titer than Kanye's and also 50 is by far a better rapper than Kanye's. I think the only reason Kanye won agains 50 is because his lyrics are more apropriate for young kids to listen to. And parents will buy a kanye cd for their kid over a 50 cd.

WHATS MY FAVORATE COLOR

My favourite color is pink. This is not becase I'm a girl and girls are suppose to love pink, It's because I love the color.

The adjective that describes the way I feel when I saw my grade is pleased. The word pleased means o.k with, just right or the way expected ot be. I was pleased because I did every thing I was suppose to, and did it the right way. But most of all I was pleased because; I've earn the highest grade in my class, I've fulfill my main goal for the third quarter which is getting straight "A " ( in all my classes).

Current Event

President Obama will convene his first cabinet meeting this morning and order his department chiefs to immediately cut a combine $100 million from their budgets. The President will be asking each department of agency chief for special proposals for triming their budgets. He says families are having to make financial desicions and need to know the government is spending their money wisly.He also said" If we are going to rebuild the economy on a solid foundation, we need to change the way we do business in Washington". To help achieve this goal President Obama appionted Jeffrey Zients( founder and managing partner of the investment firm portfolio Logic) as deputy director for management of the office of management and office, will work to streamline processes and cut cost.

President Barrack Obama's stimilus Package

Barack Obama's 787 billion stimilus package is put in place to improve the economy. President Obama's intent for the stimilus package is to reduce/shorten/stop this recession. He will do this by issuing millions and billions of dollars in our country's main/major economy areas such as heath care,infastructure, energy and education.
Let's talk about education as it is my most concern. A sum of71 billion or more will be given towards inproving education. Approximatly54 billion will be issude to school districts and 17 billion will be issused towards pell grants. Pell grant are like Financial Aid so all you high school grad like myself or high school student out their, there is more money put in place for us so don't be a time waster in school:work hard so that you can achieve something out of life because there are lots of money that's put in place for us.
I am thankful of what President Obama and his team has done has done as we, the youths are their main targets.

Three stategies for improving my time management

Three stateges for improving my time management are; creating a semester schedule. A semester schedule will show me my classworks, homeworks and projects that should be done thoughout the semester.Adjusting my plan each day.This means if something was canseled or was put off to a later date I should change my plan to fit it. And thirdly I should evaluate my schedule, this simply means that I should weigh my schedule.

Where my time goes

Where does my time go?. I've always wonder, why I am always behind in so many things but I've founded out why since I've being doing this project. I founded out that I have been wasting to much time doing so much unneccesary things. Since I've founded that out I've most of my time doing things that "counts". Now I am ahead of things.

What I have learned to evaluate my time schedule

I have learnt that when assessing and planning my weekly schedule I should;first, make a list of what Ihave to accomplish task during the coming week this includes: my class assighmentsand class attendance.Second, I should include co-circular activities those are; work hours, errands, exercise, meals and the time I spend with my friends. Third, I must estimate how long each task takes and last but not least Imust identify the day on which I will accomplish each task, keeping in mind what I have to doeach day and the amount of time it takes.

My top five time wasters

My top five time wastersare; playing game when I should be studying.Watching Television for five straight hours when I should be doing my chores aroud the house. sleeping late on weekends when I should be valentaring are finding a job. Taking a whole day to shop for, maybe just a top(blouse). Planning what to do instead of doing it.By writing these ways that I have waste my time I have waste almost eleven hours each day. WOW! Thatt's a lot.
